The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi, which was absent or very weak. Our laundry also came back just as dirty as when we handed it in. The hotel is well located, and for the price the rooms are really big and clean. Breakfast had a very limited selection, even less than the menu suggested, though what we got was quite tasty.

It’s a basic budget hotel with AC, a hot shower, a bed and okay Wi-Fi. I stayed two nights. The first was quiet, but the next night there was some kind of party or karaoke until morning, so bring earplugs and expect noise. The location is very convenient, close to everything.

The room rate could be a little lower, in my opinion. Breakfast is a nice extra but not essential. The place is clean and cozy and most things worked great, except the water. Don’t do laundry here, our clothes came back dirty.

The two brothers who run the hotel speak English, are very cordial and helpful, and can organize adventure trips or train and bus bookings. The location is convenient, and they accept USD and even THB. Rooms are spacious, but there’s no lift, so with a lot of luggage be ready to carry it up as many as four floors. Wi-Fi is slow, though Unitel service is good. The sunrise or sunset view is okay, but nearby buildings get in the way. Breakfast has few choices, but the food is tasty. It’s a safe, clean stay and good value for money.
