I like this place. It's just a few yards from Talatsao buildings and markets, and the location is nice. I come here almost every time I visit Vientiane and Laos. Prices are affordable for everyone, and the rooms are often full.

After arriving late from the Pakse loop, I went straight to reception to get keys for my room and my friend's. The smell in my room was really bad, and even the air con couldn't clear it. Water kept leaking from the shower tap, leaving mold throughout the room and bathroom. I asked to switch rooms, but staff said the others cost more and refused. They told me I could go to another hotel, then went back to sleep. We argued about it until 2 AM, and in the end I slept in my car.

The location is great, within walking distance of the Mekong river. It's close to the busy area without being right in the crowd. The rooms were decent, clean, and had A/C; the fees seemed fair. Staff were helpful when we could speak English.
