It felt like a dead place, with no internet or electricity. The room was big and okay, but it was overpriced and I don’t recommend it. I moved to another hotel and they paid me back.

My Deluxe room was surprisingly beautiful and spacious, balcony included, and very clean. The building and rooms are lovely, and the staff were very polite. It was quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights. It’s an older hotel, but very clean and quiet, and only about a 10-minute walk from the night market. I’d come back.

Getting around Vientiane was easy from here, especially since I rented a motorbike. Breakfast was included, and the rate was about 4,000 yen a night, which felt like very good value. I came back twice last year and would happily stay again. The room was roomy and very clean, with air conditioning that worked well. Since the lights used a card key, I asked for a spare and left it in place. It was reassuring to find staff who spoke Japanese.

The hotel is close to downtown along the Mekong, and the airport shuttle bus stop is nearby too. I don't usually eat much breakfast because I prefer going out for food, but the porridge and coffee here were tasty. At check-in, a man at reception unexpectedly started speaking Japanese, which caught me off guard, lol. The building is definitely old, though it feels like a well-established place that's kept very clean. Both the lobby and the rooms are spacious, and NHK was available on the TV.
