There's a lot within walking distance, and I slept well both at night and when taking a daytime nap. I didn't run into roaches or mosquitoes like another review mentioned. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I paid in cash after exchanging money at the airport, then used the motorbike rental and airport drop-off service. For a budget-priced stay, I expected similar accommodations and was happy with the service. Thanks so much to the staff.

We booked one night and stayed three. The bed and pillows were good, and the shower stall was nice. The room looked like the photos, though it could have been cleaned a bit more. The big flat-screen was there, but I wish I'd brought my cable. There was a nice balcony seating area with a good view over tourist central Vientiane, and the river is about a block away. The owner speaks English and knows a lot about the area. We found an excellent, inexpensive noodle place I'll miss. For the price, or even a little more, I doubt you'd find better in the city. It's an inexpensive place, so don't expect perfection unless you're looking at much pricier options. Compared with a $4-a-night highway dive in Cambodia, this felt like the Hilton.

I was there October 1-3, 2025. The room was small and had a lovely balcony. It got noisy at night, but I could still sleep, and motorcycles could be parked safely in the downstairs hallway. Finding the hotel was awkward because its address isn't obvious. My taxi dropped me at the place next door, and I had to ask several people where it was. The waitress, a beautiful dark-skinned woman who spoke English, said two nights cost $34.20. I gave her $35, but she had no 80 cents to return, so she changed it to Laotian kip and gave me only 10,000 kip. At that exchange rate, she should have returned 15,000 kip.

Rooms come in different sizes and prices, so take a look before choosing. The rates are good for the location, and the staff are really pleasant and friendly 🙂. You can pay in baht to a Thai bank account. I'd recommend staying here.
