Savankham Hotel

The staff really made this place special, with friendly service from everyone. The rooms were great, breakfast was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the on-site Green Pepper restaurant, where the food is fantastic. The facilities covered all my needs. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, just right for unwinding in Vientiane. An excellent choice if you're after a peaceful, comfortable stay, and I don't think you'd regret choosing it.

The classic atmosphere is really cool, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The swimming pool isn't large, but it was cleanly maintained and easy to use. Breakfast at the pretty restaurant across the street was satisfactory. It's in a quiet area, but still not too far from the center.

The pool was covered in leaves and didn't look clean enough to swim in. The room had nice antique furniture, though it was very dark, and breakfast was dull. It's quite a way from the center, with just one hotel shuttle a day at 5pm.

We had the family suite, and it felt wonderfully pampering. The rooms are stunning, and the pool has a sitting area, chairs in the water, plus shallow and deeper sections for kids. It's a small boutique hotel with 50 rooms, and the staff were lovely. Anita, the manager, even rearranged dates to meet us and handled everything with such grace and sensitivity. We'd absolutely recommend it and will be back.
