Sengtawan Riverside Hotel

The place has some character, and its terrace view and good food are a pleasure. It feels refreshing among all the new sterile-looking places with a view that are coming up. Unfortunately, terraces like this don't seem to be popular anymore.

Great location and the rooms are spacious, even if they have an old-fashioned style. The internet was so slow we really noticed it.

There's lots of room, a comfortable bed, and a large shower. The Mekong view from the rooftop bar is stunning. But the reception area is dark and rundown, and the breakfast buffet looked like it had been prepared a while earlier. Being close to the night market and street restaurants is a plus. Karaoke out front is the downside. At first I thought we wouldn't sleep at all, but we ended up sleeping like lights. I think the noise dies down around 11:30 am. Light sleepers might want to avoid it, but if music doesn't bother you and you want space, give it a look.

The rooftop cafe breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, and we could relax in the sun on our balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. We also used the gym, which had a good selection of equipment, and the Wi-Fi worked excellently everywhere. The evening cafe area is across the street. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel.
