I had a confirmed website booking well before my stay, but when I called on the way to say I’d arrive an hour late, they told me there was no room for me. They claimed I’d booked when they were already full and said I should have ignored the confirmation email and called them directly to verify. No one acknowledged the trouble caused by their poor website management and lack of professionalism. The staff were deeply disappointing, with poor communication and little common sense, and even accused me of making up a story about attending a nearby wedding and needing a room for the night. I can’t put into words how strongly I’d advise people to stay away.

The area was quiet, and the place suited our family really well. We had a wonderful stay, and Henry was very hospitable. The restaurant does play music, so if you sleep during the day, it’s a good idea to ask for a room away from it.

The food tasted good, but it was pricey compared with nearby places. The restaurant’s listed prices also didn’t match what we were charged, even though we scanned the menu. It’s a good place, but they need to pay more attention to cleanliness.

Service was practically nonexistent, and whenever I needed help there was no staff around. The electricity kept cutting in and out, and the bed squeaked so badly that even turning over would wake the whole room. When the guy downstairs warned me I’d be charged for anything taken from the minibar, I found it especially funny and sad because there wasn’t even water in the room. I also had to take my own luggage down the stairs when I left. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, professional stay.

The reservation package came with breakfast and a hot drink, which was a nice touch. Service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They had a room ready for us as newlyweds, with AC, a freezer, a water heater, a Smart TV, and a red theme with flowers.
