Batroun Village Club

For the high rental price, the quality and service didn’t meet expectations. We spent 2 nights at Batroun Village and unfortunately found the stay disappointing. Nobody checked in or offered cleaning during our visit, and service was quite slow. When we arrived, there was a worm in the room, and the space behind the beds hadn’t been properly cleaned.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and they partly made up for how much the deteriorating condition marred the stay. We spent one night in the suite, where a terrible sewage smell came from the bathroom and reached the balcony by the AC unit. The whole place needs serious deep cleaning and renovation. It feels like being back in the 80s, with the elements having left their mark and no maintenance done in years. There were exposed, very dangerous electric wires, broken wooden planks and flooring, and an old bathroom sink. The gym equipment was old and needs updating. The venue has a lot of potential, with a nice location and greenery. Hopefully management will pay more attention and put money into renovation and cleanliness.

We left disappointed and unwelcome, and definitely didn’t feel it was worth the money. Three families stayed in separate chalets at $250 each, but the experience fell far short of what we expected at that price. There was no drinking water or coffee, and not even toiletries or toilet paper by the pool. The rooms weren’t well maintained. Hospitality was zero: nobody checked in on us, and as we were leaving, the only thing they asked was whether we’d taken anything so they could charge us. We sent a complaint message and got no reply. For such a premium price, this level of service is unacceptable.

On NYE, water flooded the cave where we were staying. There were 6 of us, and with water everywhere we celebrated NYE in on room. We asked for a refund, not the full amount, but they refused, saying we had received the service and slept in the cave. Photos Below.
