Sea View Hotel

The food was very good, and the hotel was clean and generous in its hospitality. Manager Elia took special care of us, and the staff were friendly. We had a great view and a really nice room. The bed was among the best I've slept on in a hotel, and the pillows were even better. They have gel memory pillows as well as fine feather ones for anyone who prefers a softer cushion. I especially liked the duvet, which works in both summer and winter. It's in a great spot, around a 10-minute walk from all the pubs and restaurants. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We got a late checkout offer from reception because nobody had booked our room for the next night, and we were able to leave at 5 pm. That was awesome. The service was good, the bathroom clean, and the Jacuzzi excellent. We also appreciated breakfast delivered to the room at no extra charge, though the selection was limited. A few more cheese or egg options, plus fresh fruit or juice, would have been nice. The large bed was very comfortable, and the room had a closet, two comfy chairs, and a balcony with a sea view. We could hear birds chirping and waves crashing. There's a small rooftop pool and beach access, and it's close to Batroun port and some excellent restaurants. The calm area also works well for a romantic summer getaway, while pubs and restaurants are still nearby. The shower water changed unexpectedly between hot and cold. Parking was fine if you found a spot in front of the hotel, but the underground spaces were small and narrow. Bring good beach shoes, since the beach is very rocky.

I thought the negative Tripadvisor reviews were unfair. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, with a well-appointed bed and furniture and a clean bathroom. The attentive, welcoming staff gave us excellent service, better than at some more upscale places I stayed during my trip. We had several sightseeing plans and weren't at the property much during the day, so I can't say much about the shared facilities beyond that they looked well appointed and very well kept. We did enjoy breakfast on the lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel is outside the city centre, which suited me, and having a car meant the location wasn't a problem. I found it great value for money and would highly recommend it.

A fantastic rooftop pool and the beach right in front give you places to swim. Batroun harbor, with plenty of restaurants, is a five-minute walk away. It was a good spot to unwind after the stress of Beirut.
