Grand Suites Hotel

I spent 13 nights, 14 days there in Jul-25, and had to compromise constantly. The linens were stained, some with blood, and apparently never cleaned. Plates and cutlery were dirty. Once, a spoon fell on the floor and the waiter picked it up and put it straight back in the chafing dish. Breakfast was very limited and the same every day, all year, by the look of it. I had only two towels for the whole stay, and repeated requests to have the room cleaned were ignored. There was no soap, bottled water, kettle, or other basic amenities, so bring your own antibacterial, antiseptic, or antifungal soap as I did. Electricity was available for only about 20 hours a day. The room was gloomy with just one working light bulb, smelled awful of cigarettes and mold, and I could hear noise from adjoining rooms. The generator right by my room sent smoke inside. At check-in, I was told the room I booked wasn’t available and I could take a lower-grade one or leave. I’d just landed and wanted no trouble, so I had no choice but to accept it. The photos looked at least 30 years out of date, from the 1970s, and the positive reviews seem fake. I fell for the trap. Unlivable, and best avoided at all costs.

My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and the check-in was quick and easy. From the moment I arrived at Grand Suites Hotel, the staff were welcoming, warm, and attentive to what I needed. I had a fantastic stay.

The welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the rooms were spotless. Service was exceptional. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re after comfort and elegance. An unforgettable stay!

The rooms weren’t clean, the sheets had blood or yellow stains, and the bathrooms were even worse. The kitchen was bad too, and the furniture was broken. Service felt tired, electricity and Wi-Fi were both poor, and there were scammers everywhere. They charge a lot despite the difficult times, and it just isn’t worth it. I’m never coming back.
