I grew up in Beirut and went to school there, and I still come back each year to see old friends. I used to choose the big luxury hotels, but missed feeling connected to the people of Lebanon, which is what makes the country special to me. A friend pointed me to The Hotel Lost, and now I don’t want to stay anywhere else. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in Gemmayzeh, the trendiest part of Beirut. My room was clean and the staff were lovely. Gouraud is full of life, with beautiful cafes and restaurants, couples strolling around, and people gathering at outdoor tables. The shops on Gouraud are upscale, and the Sursock Museum is very close. You can walk to the Souks in 15 minutes, and the Corniche overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is also within walking distance, one of the city’s loveliest places for a stroll. The Hotel Lost is ridiculously affordable, and the restaurant food is fantastic. I enjoy staying here so much that I wanted to tell others to give it a chance on a visit to this incredible city. I know you won’t be disappointed.

The location makes it easy to explore Beirut, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel Lost is a genuine boutique stay in a beautifully restored old Lebanese house, with striking interiors and a creative, soulful feel. The food is very good too, with lots of choice. I’ve stayed here many times, and the friendly staff always go out of their way to help and make me comfortable. It feels welcoming and looked after, almost like home. A special place I’m always glad to return to.

One thing to know is there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to take a short flight of stairs to reach the rooms. Even so, I had a wonderful stay at this lovely Beirut boutique hotel. The rooms were charming, stylish, and spotless, with thoughtful details throughout. The staff made me feel welcome right away and were genuinely warm and attentive. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends visiting Beirut.

The upper floors don’t have an elevator, so keep that in mind if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Otherwise, I had a fantastic stay, with a great location, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. Roy was an incredible host. He went out of his way to find me a spacious room at the last minute so I could stay near my friends, who had booked earlier. Highly recommend.

The hotel team made the biggest impression on me. Everyone was kind, supportive, and so friendly. I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. My room was beautiful, very clean, and spacious, with all the things you’d want. I loved the tiles and the design of the bathroom facilities. There were nice little body products, water, and coffee. Breakfast was delicious and had a great range of choices. The location was perfect. Thank you for making the stay so lovely.
