8/10
It was clean, and the staff were really nice. We had steady power, hot water, and Wi-Fi throughout. There’s no view, just another building, and the hotel doesn’t serve food, though a grocery store selling water and coffee is just up the street and to the left. Calling directly gets lower rates than booking online. The odd part was the off-hours service: staff seemed asleep at check-in and check-out, and we were shut in and locked inside overnight, which could have been a fire hazard. I’d recommend it, with that caveat.

The pool and gym were in good shape, and the hotel’s location made it easy to get around the city. My room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view. The staff were friendly and quick to take care of what I needed. I had an amazing stay at Lahoya and would choose it again.

10/10
Even a standard room had plenty of space, with a sitting and dining area, a kitchen, and a large bathroom. It was well furnished, and the staff were courteous. Cleaning was superb, the location was great, and the internet stayed stable, which isn’t true of many places in Lebanon. The price was more than reasonable for what I got. Five stars.

I planned on staying just three nights after an Airbnb mishap, but ended up here for 14. It’s super comfortable, and the location makes it easy to head in any direction around Beirut or beyond. Taxis are plentiful, too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

I came from Dubai for four nights in Beirut and picked the hotel based on older reviews online. Its licence says four stars, but the hospitality, location, and lovely, polite staff made it feel like a five-star place to me. I’m really enjoying my stay. It’s just a one-minute walk from ABC mall, and the prices are reasonable. I’d happily return next year with my whole family, and recommend it to tourists.
