The staff are very helpful whenever you need something, and I really appreciated that both checkout and breakfast were available until 12pm. It's a good value compared with most nearby hotels, and handy for the harbour. The reception can get noisy and chaotic, though, and there's a strong smell of smoke throughout the hotel.

The location is perfect for tourists, and I can recommend the hotel wholeheartedly. The staff made us feel so well cared for. The managers were kind, the reception ladies were helpful, and Jana was an angel who helped us with everything. Sarah made fresh Manakisch for breakfast, with a tasty new variety each day, and she was so sweet and put love into everything. Rooms were cleaned when we asked, and the cleaning staff did a great job. Jawad and the older gentleman on parking service were friendly and helpful too.

The rooms were neat and clean, better than I expected. The staff were wonderfully kind and helpful during my two-night stay. NY Suites sits right on Zaitounay Bay, within walking distance of Hamra and other central attractions. I'd definitely recommend it for a visit to Beirut.

The hotel is great: it's affordable, in a great location, and they accommodate every request. But stay away from Ibrahim, the hotel's designated taxi driver. He's not above lying or cheating, and his behavior and attitude don't suit this hotel or any hotel. I don't know why they keep him around.

I was happy to stay here. The sea is nearby, and the room was very clean. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and sympathetic. The Turkish caffe was really good.
