The location was great, but the room itself made for a bad stay. It smelled stale as soon as I walked in, like it had been shut up for months, and the furniture was very old and unlike the website photos. The sheets were stained, and the fridge in the kitchen didn't work. Its electrical cable was glued with scoth! The air conditioning unit was on the balcony, where its fan or engine was disturbing when switched on. It also stayed at 22 degrees and didn't change temperature. There was barely any toilet paper, just one nearly finished roll, so I don't think the room was ready. When I asked for more, an employee in regular clothes came instead of room service.

Reception staff were nice, but this was a bad hotel. The room was dirty, with hair left in the shower, a broken toilet, old, weak AC, and slow, weak internet. They didn't have toothpaste or toothbrushes, and neither did the other hotel. While I was asleep, the cleaner came in to ask whether I wanted the room cleaned. I hadn't put out a cleaning sign or asked for service. Staff shouldn't enter a room without asking.

The manager understood and moved me to a new room within five minutes after a serious toilet problem. Two days after I flushed, the drainage exploded in the room. Still, the experience cost far too much for what I got. When I asked for a refund, the other manager laughed and said the problem was technical. I'm very disappointed and frustrated, and can't recommend the hotel. I have a photo of the toilet mess, but feel bad about posting it. On my first day the room smelled of cigarettes, and I could hear the man next door talking as if he were in my room. They changed it, thankfully, and gave me a “suite room,” though I'm not sure they know what a suite should be. It was damp and had a horrible bed.

We left on the third day despite having paid for five nights, and there was no refund. We stayed that long only because staff promised things would improve and offered other rooms. We did change rooms, but the service and quality were just as poor. We spent 75% of that time away from the hotel. The bathrooms and rooms were disgusting. The shower overflowed, there was hair in the bathroom corners, the balconies and floors were dirty, and the sheets weren't changed. We had no tissues, even after asking several times. Some light bulbs were out, and the AC sounded like a helicopter in the room. Not recommended if you want to rest, sleep, or have things clean.
