The next day, we had no electricity for more than two hours, so I decided to leave after two nights. There was no refund. I’d booked three nights and checked into a room on the 4th floor, left my bags there, and told them my parent and I would come back that evening. Then I was surprised to find they’d moved me to the 2nd floor. 🙂

It’s sad to experience this at an establishment like this: the front desk staff gossip about guests, especially the men. The hotel itself is nice.

The room was clean, had electricity, and the AC worked. Mosbah was especially professional and helpful, five stars for him. But a two-minute shower flooded the whole bathroom, and they said that was normal and wouldn’t move me to another room. There were machines but no coffee pucks or tea, which didn’t feel welcoming for the price. I also spent five minutes negotiating to pay by card. They told me, “normally, we don’t take cards,” at a hotel in hamra?

We were with a group travelling around Lebanon, and I had a pleasant, comfortable stay. The hotel is within walking distance of lots of places to eat, drink, shop, and explore. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, though a little noisy at night, which is unfortunately to be expected in Hamra. Breakfast was good too.
