The floor didn’t look clean, and the pillows were so dirty we couldn’t sleep on them. We had to cover them with our clothes. We called to ask for fresh pillows, but nobody answered. Apparently no one is available after 11 PM.

The room had a lot of problems. It was very small, the closet barely fit one person's things, and the carpet was old and dirty. The bathroom ventilation worked only when it felt like it. Some days housekeeping left a foot towel, some days they didn’t, and we had to ask specifically for extra toilet paper. We got only one room card for two people, and had to pay for another. The electric door lock kept breaking, and the air conditioner remote battery kept running out. The bedside lights and a large light fixture were defective too. There was hardly any parking, although we’d rented a Chevrolet Tahoe. The staff let us park right in front of the hotel, which made me feel like a VIP. They also let us store frozen food in the hotel kitchen’s refrigeration facilities, and were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel is on Jeanne D'Arc Street, a side street off Al Hamra. For activity and sightseeing questions, asking reception first is a good idea. Breakfast had a few options but was very limited, and the taste wasn’t particularly good.
