The garden was a lovely place to sit and take in the atmosphere. I really enjoyed staying at Massabki Hotel. Its old-fashioned design gives it a special charm, the food is delicious, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and very good. The heating worked amazingly well too. It was a great experience, and I'd gladly return.

The restaurant served high-quality food at fair prices, and the staff were hospitable, friendly, and quick to respond to our needs. We stayed in two spacious rooms that were neat and very clean, with a view of a nearby wood full of tall trees. Air-conditioning and hot water were always available. We had a great experience at this vintage hotel, and it was the best hotel we stayed at in the Bekaa region.

I expected more from Massabki, given its decades of history and glamorous reputation. The rooms were dusty and seemed uncared for, the service felt less than professional, and the place itself seemed run-down. Maybe visiting in the low season explains it, but I'm not sure I'll return in high season to find out. I hope that really was the reason.

The greenery around the hotel was so lovely that it felt like being in Bali. I stayed for two nights, and the staff were always smiling, ready to help, and thoughtful too. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

The room wasn't clean at all, despite the claim that it was. The refrigerator didn't work properly, and some furniture was broken. On arrival, the manager quoted us $175, then $140, then $125, changing the price several times without explaining any clear system. Overall, the experience felt overrated.
