The DJ was great, and the atmosphere was really nice. Parking was plentiful, though the lot was unpaved, and the place was easy to find. We paid for VIP, but by the time we arrived, the good beds were already taken even though we weren’t especially late. Service was good, but the food and drink menu was limited and pricey. A few guests got drunk and out of control, so security had to step in several times. They weren’t always around, though, and sometimes seemed to ignore inappropriate behavior.

My family and I booked a chalet with a private pool, and the kids had fun in the different pools, including the 18+ one. Music played around the pools and in the chalets. The rest of the stay was disappointing. Staff service was very poor, and some employees weren’t professional or courteous. Breakfast was below what we’ve had at other Lebanese restaurants: although we booked for five, we got portions for two. The bed covers were stained, and in the morning the chalet smelled so strongly of sewage that we had to leave. The beach was very rocky and hard to get into. There were no jellyfish warnings or visible lifeguard signs, and my husband and daughter were stung. This was our first and last visit. Compared with resorts we’ve stayed at in other countries, I’d give it a 2 out of 10.

The room in our private pool bungalow was nice, but the stay wasn’t. We couldn’t sleep properly because a wedding on the other side of the beach had very loud music. The food arrived cold and wasn’t good, and we waited 30 minutes for staff to turn on the hot water so we could bathe.

We come to Lebanon every year, and my friend and I have always gone to this pool together. Some years we’ve rented bungalows too. After traveling a long way to get there, we were told this time that we couldn’t come in. I explained that we visit the pool every year when we’re in Lebanon, and that they should know us as clients, but they still turned us away. Really, really bad service. I’m very disappointed.

The owner, Raja, made us feel completely cared for, and his team handled everything so we could relax. We planned the wedding in two months, and it turned into the most magical time. Guests came from Canada, the US, Turkey, UAE, Syria, and Lebanon, and they were wowed by all the details. We’d traveled from Dubai and knew as soon as we saw the resort that we wanted to get married there. Having all our loved ones with us made it even more special. We loved it so much that we stayed three days for our honeymoon too, and the parties by the sea were the best. We’re already booking a trip back to Lebanon for our anniversary, and can’t wait to bring our future children to see where we got married. Lots of love from Soul & Majd 💕
