Le Royal Hotel - Beirut

The pool, spa, and water area were top-notch, and the kids loved them. We also really enjoyed the outstanding breakfast, with a delicious, varied selection each morning. The hotel is stunning, well located, and has spacious, modern rooms and every facility we could wish for. Our family spent the last 7 days at Le Royal Hotel Beirut, and the staff were kind, professional, and welcoming from arrival to departure. Marwan Auchi took such good care of us from the first day, with warm hospitality and attention to detail. Our amazing room was incredible, thanks to the upgrade. The team made our family vacation memorable. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Le Royal Beirut to anyone visiting Lebanon. From Andreas Younan

The location and view were the only real positives for me. The architecture is great, but the hotel looks outdated and poorly maintained, with mold on the walls. The pool water was murky and didn't seem clean or safe, and the gym had no trash cans or towels. I had to go three floors up to ask for one towel, small or large, never both at once. There weren't any apples, bananas, protein bars, or protein drinks in the gym either. The room was unpleasant too. The pillows smelled bad, and there was a lingering ashtray odor that made it hard to relax. A case of six water bottles went missing, and after I asked, I still didn't get even one by my bed. Housekeeping were the only people with access to the room. Getting extra towels was a struggle, and the shampoo and conditioner came in tiny sample bottles. When I asked for more for two people, it felt like I was asking for a favor. The valet staff seemed more interested in staring than helping. With my hands full, I expected someone to open the car door or lend a hand. Whoever manages the place should visit a five-star hotel and take notes. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

You don't have to be staying at Le Royal Dbayeh to enjoy dinner by the pool, which was a lovely way to catch up with friends or family. They have different packages for different occasions, too. I spent the weekend there and tried the buffet. The selection was rich with lots of flavors, and the dessert choices seemed endless. Music added to the nice evening atmosphere.

We paid a high price to book a conference room, then got charged 600000 L.L or 7$ for parking, even though I parked the car myself. That feels like petty theft and weasel behavior.
