The hill up to the hotel is steep if you’re on foot, though the shuttle helps and the staff are very helpful. Once there, it’s a relaxing place, especially by the pool, with lovely views of the surrounding hills. The rooms were clean, bright, tidy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Ms. Simon was especially sweet, and the service and food were both good during my two-night stay. The standard room worked, though its layout felt awkward. A few room details could use attention: water sprayed across the bathroom because there was no shower curtain rail, and the toilet smell carried through the room. I also noticed a couple of small stains on the comforter and some dust in the corners, so I didn’t use the comforter. I hope they’ll address those little things.

The room felt cramped, though it worked for our group. Breakfast was included and pretty good, but it would help to post the next day’s menu ahead of time. Staff were welcoming, polite and ready to help, and when some outlets gave us trouble, the owner came with her son and fixed the issue. Most sockets were UK style, and we had to leave a $20EC deposit to borrow an adapter. Our four-day stay wasn’t bad, but there’s room to improve. I’d think twice before recommending it or coming back. Maybe you get what you pay for, or maybe not.

Breakfast was included and turned out much better than I expected. Our room was clean and pleasant, everything worked, and there was a handy little kitchen nearby. The whole hotel was nice and clean. I’d stay here again if I return to St Lucia.

Lucie, the chef, was great company and looked after us, with good advice too. You should try her coco tea! We spent eight days at Alizee inn and had a really nice vacation, with a good breakfast each morning. The owners were very understanding.
