The Landings Resort and Spa, St. Lucia

I visited at the end of April 2026. The place was very, very quiet, and the food and general activities were disappointing, but the staff were incredible. I hope they're supported through this slow period. Juan in the kids club is an absolute gem, warm and kind, with a genuine love for the hotel and St Lucia. Azema gave me one of the best massages of my life. I later learned she takes a two-hour bus ride each way every day, yet still arrives smiling, with magic hands. Donovan seems to be everywhere, working constantly and smiling. He really does 40,000 steps a day. I could see him becoming a manager.

The Landings was beautiful, with a lovely beach and a clean, nice room. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, which made the whole stay more fun. We enjoyed the experience and all our interactions. Kerim was our favorite, from security guard to water sports. I highly recommend The landings!

The property itself is top class, with understated elegance and a luxurious feel. The spa is well appointed and professional, and the restaurants are delightful. Staff are courteous and seem to do their best in what looks like a difficult situation. However, The Landings sits on one of Saint Lucia's best beaches in the island's tourist hub, and it has gradually disenfranchised locals while encroaching on the queens chain. It is breaking the promise to respect the law and give locals unfettered beach access. This is one of the main reasons I gave service three stars. Locals don't receive the resort's best customer service.

The WiFi in our room was out when my wife and I arrived for the last two days of our stay. We asked for help, but they spent the evening trying to sort it out and it still wasn't working until the following day. Two of the room's three smart TVs never worked either. The managers offered a partial refund and said they'd take care of us after we raised these problems. It's been two months, and we still haven't received it.
