Amara Villa felt like a peaceful oasis, and we had a wonderful week there. Sam and Anya made us feel welcome, and their staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. It's a short walk to food, yoga, the main road, and the bus stop. I loved using the yoga shala in the morning while listening to the birds. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, and there was wonderful wildlife right nearby, including tropical birds, peacocks, and monkeys. I hope to return soon!

We loved the garden, with all the plants and animals coming and going, and the architecture and design felt beautiful and harmonious. The hosts also went out of their way to make our stay special. Amara Villa was the perfect place for our first few days in Sri Lanka: close to restaurants and a beautiful, safe beach, but far enough from the main street noise.

I wish we'd stayed longer than one day. The villa is run by a wonderful couple, and the staff were so warm, friendly, and attentive. This was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka, and I was genuinely happy with the whole experience.

Amara Villa in Ahangama was spotlessly clean and wonderfully peaceful, and we had a lovely stay. The food was amazing, with great taste and quality at every meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel comfortable throughout. Mr. Kaushan (Manager), Mr. Kumara (Sudu Aiyya), and Mr. Indika all helped make our stay memorable, with special thanks to Mr. Kaushan for his care and management, and to Mr. Kumara for being so warm and helpful. I'd highly recommend it for the hospitality, food, and peaceful setting.

The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, happy to make special arrangements when needed. Amara Villa has a refreshing, different feel for the down south, and it's a lovely quiet place to get away from a busy lifestyle. Highly recommended!
