Green Corridor - Ahangama

Our hosts were so kind, and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were beautiful too. The place sits in a lovely garden with big trees and lots of shade, which kept everything comfortably cool. Surfers will like being within walking distance of some great reef breaks and waves. We’ve already extended our stay!

We planned six nights and ended up adding three more. The couple were so nice, always cheerful and friendly, and served a big, different breakfast every day. It’s peaceful despite being near a busy area, and the garden is full of animals to keep you company at breakfast. They were the nicest people we met in Sri Lanka. The location is handy for the beach, restaurants and a bank. They can help arrange a bike, offer laundry service and suggest places to visit nearby. I really recommend this place!

A last-minute booking, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but the surprise was a good one. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the garden was lovely. Our host was amazing and very friendly. It’s well placed for Weligama cafes, restaurants and nightlife. Rooms are available with or without air-conditioning, so make sure you tell the host which you prefer instead of assuming. Highly recommended!

This was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. We were tucked among the locals, with 100 rupee rotis nearby, and just a two-minute walk from the tourist street’s restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms were clean and spacious, with A/C and a kitchenette that had a fridge and microwave. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
