Insight Resort Ahangama Hotel

The staff were kind and very helpful, and there’s a great restaurant within walking distance. We stayed five nights with our five-year-old and had a lovely time. She enjoyed the pool and beach with the other kids, while we made use of the surf spot just in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet had loads of delicious choices. Everything worked out perfectly for us.

The breakfast had a big range of fresh, tasty things, and our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The grounds also looked neat and were clearly well cared for, even though the building itself is a little older. Service was friendly, attentive, and helpful the whole time. A special thanks to Poojitha in housekeeping. He cleaned our room so well, closed the blinds each evening, and even left a lovely towel design on the bed. That thoughtful touch made us really happy. Thanks for a great stay, we'd love to return.

Dilrukshi made a real impression with her warmth, kindness, and energy. She went out of her way to make sure everything was right, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and kept beautifully. Breakfast was delicious every morning with plenty of choice, and the facilities were all in great shape. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back anytime. Highly recommend it.

We had a premier ocean-view room with the water right outside the balcony, almost reaching the property. The location is decent, just off the main road, and it works well for a stopover. Still, for what it costs, the hotel feels rather cheap. The room was average, neither particularly clean nor dirty, and the breakfast buffet was below par. It's a three-star hotel.
