The hosts were wonderful and did so much to make our trip enjoyable. The three of us came to Sri Lanka to work remotely and surf as much as possible. They helped whenever we needed anything, brought us fresh fruit, and arranged scooters and a Tuktuk, along with other things that are easier for a local to find and negotiate. They really went the extra mile. We often found fresh flowers on the Tuktuk dashboard as an offering to the Buddha statue to keep us safe on the road. The villa is on a quiet street, a short walk from the beach and Lazie Left, a great surf spot, and we had it to ourselves. Weligama, with most amenities, is a seven-minute drive away, and Ahangama is about the same distance for food and nightlife. Couldn't recommend this place more!

I stayed here for two months, from the end of December 2022 until the end of February 2023. The place matched the description and photos, and Jula was very helpful with arranging things and giving advice. Thanks so much, my friend! What mattered most to me was feeling safe, and the host always looked out for guests' security. It was also very calm, with nothing disturbing my stay. The location was ideal: a one-minute walk to the beachfront, but away from beach road and the railway, whose trains are very noisy. They were ready to help with any issue. Thank you to Jula and the hosts for making my stay in Midigama so calm and safe. I recommend it to everyone!

We were very happy with everything during our three-week stay and would come back. The rooms were comfortable, and the family was lovely and helpful. We especially liked the cozy garden and outdoor shower, and the area stayed quiet at night.

We had a great month here, with the beach just a four-minute walk away. There are lots of surf spots and a great, inexpensive restaurant nearby. The hosts were always available and very helpful :) We recommend it!

The family made us feel welcome and were really friendly. The villa is spacious, with a garden that's nice to relax in, and it's close to both the beach and the center of Midigama.
