The host was very friendly and eager to help, and the room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was included in our booking price :) It’s near a surf spot and also easy to reach a beach for sunbathing. Some shades would help with privacy and getting an early night.

The balcony had chairs and a peaceful view, and each room has its own entrance, so you don’t need to go through the main house or living room. The host was a lovely, helpful man. My room at Sunhill rest was comfortable and clean, with AC and a fan, enough sockets, two warm light sources, and a big mirror. The bedlinen and towels were fresh, the bathroom was clean, and there was a well equipped kitchen. It was quiet despite the busy street nearby. WiFi worked, though it could be a bit better.

We’re coming back for our second stay because we love this place. The owner is super lovely, and it’s our favourite place to stay when we visit Hiriketiya. It’s peaceful, with great rooms, and close to everything.

I felt so at home here, and it was my favourite place I stayed in Sri Lanka. The rooms are beautiful, and the place is modern, clean, and quiet. It’s also a fantastic price. The guys who run it are so kind and helpful. Just a short walk from Hiri beach. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back :)
