The family made us feel so welcome, and the room was comfortable with everything we needed. Having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. The trains went by, but they didn’t disturb our sleep, and breakfast was delicious. I left my hat at the accommodation by accident, and they brought it back to me even though I was a 20-minute drive away. They wouldn’t even accept money. Thank you so much, that was incredibly kind 🤍🤍🤍

The family who hosted us were cheerful, lovely to talk with, and so nice. We got a scooter for very little money, they gave us activity tips, and the breakfast was the best we had on our trip. We had a great stay and will definitely return when we're back in Sri Lanka.

The quiet beach across the street was mellow and great for relaxing, while the surf spot is right out front. The location is ideal if you want to be a little away from the bustle of Kabalana’s main road and beach. They have surfboard storage, a small fridge for drinks, and warm as well as outdoor showers for rinsing off. The owners were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and their local family business is a pleasure to support. The place is spotless, they keep the rooms and shared areas tidy, and they’re always happy to help. They offered good suggestions for exploring and even drove us to local shops to find better prices. Breakfast was excellent and a highlight of our stay. We had a wonderful time and will be back whenever we're in the area. Thanks for having us, it was memorable!

I felt like part of the family at Lasindu Guest house, and Ami and Yamuna are the best hosts I could ask for. The breakfasts were phenomenal, with fresh local coffee, and the rooms were spotless with comfy beds, great views, and all the amenities close at hand. They helped me with transport, local connections, recommendations, and anything else I asked. This is my place to stay around Ahangama, and it’s great for families too. Seven stars out of five, in my opinion!
