OYO 483 Kabalana Villa

Randith made us feel welcome right away. He’s such a warm, guest-friendly host, always going the extra mile, and every request was handled with a smile. The service was excellent throughout. We slept amazingly well every night. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, especially the beds, and the whole hotel was well maintained with a peaceful feel. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared each morning. It felt like a home away from home. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and would definitely come back. For a three-star hotel, it was good value for the price. The owner and staff were very friendly, and our family room was spacious, very clean, and free of insects. The balcony is somewhat shared, so it may not suit someone wanting total privacy, but it was fine for us. Breakfast was American style and good. We love Sri Lankan food, though spicy food first thing in the morning can be a bit much 😅. The spot is great for surfers and less ideal for families, but there's a small wild beach nearby that's good for children. Koggala Beach is seven minutes away and worth a visit, though you can't swim there. We liked Jungle and Midigama best, around ten minutes by tuk-tuk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a nice padel tennis court right in front. I didn't expect to see one in Sri Lanka, and it seemed very popular.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the location was excellent, a short distance from Kabalana Beach and close to good cafes and restaurants around Ahangama. We stayed in Kabalana Villa’s new three-bedroom residence, which was perfect for our group, with lots of space and a relaxing feel. The place is beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well equipped, and each has a secure safety box for valuables. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Sri Lanka's south coast. A great place to relax and enjoy the area.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help, and their hospitality made our stay special. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, with delicious food and plenty of options. The clean, relaxing pool was another highlight after a day at the beach. At Kabalana Villa, the rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The safes in the rooms helped us feel secure. A fantastic place to stay in Ahangama with great rooms, lovely staff, tasty meals, and a beautiful pool. Highly recommended! 🌴✨
