The location is great, the rooms are nice, and there's a good pool. But the manager treats Sri Lankan guests differently. Foreigners seem to be treated like royalty even if they spend very little. As a Sri Lankan, I'd avoid this place and book somewhere else if you have any self-respect. They also charged too much for water bottles, which is clearly against the law. Check your bill before you leave.

Both rooms we were given had a strong toilet or sewer smell. When we brought it up, the manager, Indika, got defensive instead of fixing it. He was rude, angry, and unprofessional toward staff and guests throughout our stay, speaking dismissively and making the atmosphere hostile. When I asked for fresh towels, he answered rudely and made insulting comments in Sinhala, assuming I wouldn't understand. I did. Poor management, unprofessional conduct, and basic hygiene problems made this an unpleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend it.

The pool was the best part: clean and at a perfect temperature. The location is great too, just a two-minute walk to the beach. Our rooms were big, the staff were very friendly and took care of what we needed. When we had a water problem in the bathroom, they dealt with it right away. A very nice hotel.

The main reason I’d recommend this hotel is its location, with cafes only a short walk away. Ask for a room in the newer wing if you can, since those are roomier and have a better view. Just note that the hotel sits inland, so you won’t get a sea view.
