Secret Beach is a lovely quiet stretch in Ahangama, with clean sand, clear water, and no trash. Go early and you can find a spot that feels like your own. It's secluded, just as the name suggests, and a nice place to sit and take it all in. The water can be rough even in season, so it's not a calm beach for swimming with kids or a surf spot. If you want a peaceful coast without crowds, this is it. Please keep it clean and quiet. I'd love for it to stay under the main tourist radar.

We went from 10am onward and never found it too crowded. The beach was incredible, and it still feels like a secret. There's just one small shop, so bring what you need and take your garbage with you. Of all the beaches we visited in Sri Lanka, this was the only one with zero signs that anyone had been there.

It's a beautiful beach, just a short walk from Ahangama's main strip. There are monkeys in the trees, plenty of shade, a coconut stand, and clear, calm water for swimming and snorkeling.

This is a beautiful beach that's still relatively unknown and hasn't become overcrowded with locals or tourists. Trees provide plenty of shade, so you can unwind after a swim or just look out across the vast water. A large rock breaks the big waves and slows them as they reach shore. There aren't places nearby to eat or shower after swimming, but the beach's beauty more than makes up for that.
