We wish we'd stayed longer and will definitely come back. It's also somewhere we'd recommend to friends visiting Sri Lanka. The hosts, Dinesh and Tharu, were kind and lovely, always quick to respond when we needed something, and they cook an amazing, different breakfast each morning. The room felt luxurious, with modern finishes, four very comfortable pillows, a good desk, and fast WiFi. There was a well-equipped kitchen with a smoothie maker, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing in the evening. It's tucked away from the main road, so nights are quiet, yet Midigama's best beach is just a two-minute walk away. Ahangama is about four minutes by tuktuk or bike, and Weligama takes around 8-12 minutes. We regretted staying in Weligama before, since this is such a good base for the whole area and its activities.

We enjoyed our time so much that we stayed here twice. Dinesh is very kind and helpful, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with both AC and a fan. Breakfast is really good, especially the coconut roti with dal curry. There's a lovely beach across the street, handy when you don't feel like going to Weligama. I'd recommend staying here if you want to be near the Weligama area but prefer to avoid the hostels, crowds of tourists, and busy streets.

I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived at this hidden treasure. It's in midagama, not weligama, and easy to reach by bus or tuk tuk. From Main Street, it's opposite pepa beach. The family are so welcoming and kind, and I liked being a little away from the busy areas so I could relax. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with something different each day. There's also a great coffee shop, unsung, just up the road towards weligama. Such a beautiful home stay, definitely recommend!

Of all the places I've stayed during my time in Sri Lanka, this homestay is my favorite. Dinesh and Tharu have lovely modern rooms that are clean and high quality, and the breakfasts are a real pleasure. Midigama Right beach is practically on the doorstep, so I can't imagine a better spot in Midigama.

Dinesh's family were attentive and welcoming throughout my 13-night stay. The bedrooms were very clean, comfortable, and carefully decorated, and having access to a kitchen was a definite plus. The location is ideal, right across from the beach, with small shops and restaurants within walking distance and buses easy to catch. Highly recommend. Thanks again, Dinesh and Tharu 🙏🏼
