There are no restaurant facilities here, but Lal, the friendly owner, can point you to a good place around habarana. A path behind the building leads toward the lake, the archeological site and the old inscription. We rented rooms here for a year and recommend it to anyone. It's inexpensive accommodation on the habarana anuradapura road.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the owner is really helpful and friendly. He'll sort things out to help you enjoy your stay, including booking a Safari or arranging a scooter rental. It's a very nice, affordable place. I'd go there and see the view and room before booking online, since the owner may offer a better price in person.

We liked our stay, especially the nice rooms and meals. There's a great walk behind the hotel toward the lake, where you can see elephants after their business time :)

At this low price, it feels like a 5 star deal. The owner got us a safari for 1000rs less than elsewhere, so make sure to arrange it through him. Climb around the back and up the rock for beautiful views.
