Habarana Wild Resort

It felt like staying in the jungle, with all kinds of animals and plants right in the garden. My room was clean and spacious, and the owner kindly helped move the very cute little frogs that had come in as guests. Breakfast was delicious, though I had to share some with a monkey that found my tasty dish! The location isn't great without transport, but I was getting around by scooter, so it worked perfectly for me. One of my favourite places. I hope to stay again on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

The host was such a friendly, helpful man. He picked us up by tuktuk and drove us to Pindurangala rock and back. The place is lovely, just 200m from the Habarana train station, and the room was clean and peaceful. Breakfast was really good, and there were lots of animals nearby, which made it an interesting stay. The price was amazing, 10/10. ☀️🐒🦎

Mr. Indica was a kind, hardworking and attentive host. He checked in often to make sure I was happy with everything. The family brought generous breakfasts to my own table at the hut, and they were among the tastiest meals I've had in Sri Lanka. I started eating before I took this photo because I couldn't wait. If you're arriving by train from Colombo and need somewhere to stay, I recommend this place without hesitation. You might even decide to add another night, like I did.
