Really nice place.

We stayed in this villa for a month, and loved having the whole place to ourselves. We’d wanted somewhere with a separate room for each of us and no neighbors. The villa is its own building, separate from the owners’ house, and they live nearby. There are security cameras around the property, and we felt safe. The owners are a lovely family, a father, mother, and three daughters, always willing to help with questions. We were in touch with one daughter, who replied quickly and helped us with everything. If you don’t feel like going out for meals, there’s a menu in each room and you can order food at the villa. The villa has two rooms. One is about 12-14 square meters, with a large floor-to-ceiling window; the other is smaller, about 10 meters, with a small window. Each has its own shower and toilet, air conditioning, a fan, and mosquito nets over the beds. The linens and towels were very clean, and both rooms had outlets with adapters for European plugs. We weren’t bothered by insects. The small kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed, including a blender, stove, kettle, and oven, so we often cooked at home. You can ask for cleaning, or the hosts will offer after a while. There’s also a lovely open veranda, fully shaded and sheltered from rain, where you can enjoy the fresh air in any weather. There’s access to the roof, which is still being renovated. You can go up there to exercise at dawn, but bring a mat. The shower had hot water, and the pressure was excellent for both hot and cold. The owners have dogs on the property. For the first two days they sometimes barked when we walked past, then got used to us and treated us like their own. The only thing missing for us was internet, though you can get it for an extra fee with the right package. We didn’t need a computer and got by on mobile data. I loved the stay. It was clean, comfortable, tasty, and quiet, though a bit far from the beach without a bike. The owners arranged bike rental and an airport transfer at prices much better than we’d have found elsewhere. There’s also a washing machine for an extra fee. It’s inexpensive and works well.
