We enjoyed it enough to return for a second stay. The villa managers were so kind and helpful, calling a mechanic when our tuktuk had trouble and arranging our onward travel. They even brought us tea and cake after a long journey. The pool was a lovely place to unwind while watching monkeys and birds, and we ate a great breakfast each day on our own terrace, with eggs, fruit, toast and jam. The whole place feels peaceful and relaxing, yet Hikkaduwa's busy main road is an easy five minute walk away. Many thanks to the managers. We'd return in a heartbeat.

One of the best places we stayed! The hospitality was amazing, breakfast and coffee were lovely, and the rooms were so comfortable. We'd definitely come back. It deserves more than five days. Thanks so much, guys!

It felt like home. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything, from a tuk tuk ride or river safari to advice on where to go and where to buy fresh fruit. We loved how calm, safe and clean the place was. Breakfast came with eggs, a plate of fruit, bread and fresh juice. Hikkaduwa beach is five minutes away, with a nice spot for swimming without waves, or you can take a five minute tuk tuk ride to Narigama beach for surfing. We loved it!

We ended up extending our stay by one night and skipping Colombo. It isn't cheap, but the price is reasonable for the area and the stay is worth it. The second-floor rooms are especially comfortable, with balconies. The pool is lovely, breakfast is fantastic, and the staff are incredible.

We loved being tucked into the jungle, close enough to walk to the beach but far enough from the bustle to feel peaceful. Claus and his wife were so welcoming, and Sissira and his family took great care of the place. For a small fee, they found fresh seafood and made us a traditional Sri Lankan dinner, the best meal of our trip. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I'll be back! Greg, Australia
