Hotel Saji-Sami

The place was clean and quiet, a great setting for a relaxing break, and the location was truly beautiful. We also really enjoyed the delicious meals. Highly recommend!

The setting is lovely, with a scenic view, and there’s one room I really liked: a private cabana with its own small pool, listed at around Rs. 8500 (Room Only). The pool wasn’t filled while I was there, though. Other rooms are basic, just average day-to-day accommodation. This is a budget hotel, not a star-class property, and maintenance really lets it down. There were broken bathroom fixtures and other problems left unrepaired. With regular upkeep, the place could be great.

A handy stop in the area, and good value for the money. The rooms are very basic, but the owner’s hospitality was amazing.

We went on 5th February and asked for two rooms. The pool was good, and at least there was hot water, but the bathrooms were awful, with dirty walls and commodes. We hadn’t been given towels or toiletries, not even soap, despite asking, and there was no coffee-making facility either. One AC made noise in the middle of the night and didn’t work properly. The side tables and dressing tables were worn out, and dust covered much of the furniture and other areas, as if the place had been empty for months. The room shown on booking.com was totally different from what we got. It seemed they only had one good-looking room, the one in the listing, and it had been reserved for Australian tourists. They weren’t happy with it either. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve come across. The property is massive and could treat customers much better with proper maintenance. Check the room’s condition before deciding to stay, so you don’t get deceived.
