I've stayed here three times now and would happily come again. It's a quiet residential area, and the owner, Mr Anton, and his family are very accommodating. They can arrange meals, a local SIM card, transport, and tours without any hassle. It's close to CMB, and the area is less busy than Colombo, with its traffic and city life. Stores, restaurants, and shops for daily needs are within walking distance, and churches are nearby too.

The owner was really welcoming and collected us from the airport when we arrived in Sri Lanka. They also sorted out a bike rental and a taxi to Colombo Fort. Breakfast was tasty, with eggs, toast, jam, juice, and tea or coffee.

The room was basic but clean, and the shower worked well. The host took good care of us, and breakfast was nice. You can also arrange an evening meal. It’s handy for a stop before or after a flight, with the town, beach, and some good restaurants a short walk away.

Good value and a nice place to stay. The service felt safe and was excellent, though the bathrooms could do with some work.

A peaceful place at a very reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
