The European Gate

We had lunch and dinner from the guest house, and both meals were tasty, freshly prepared and served warm. The owner was attentive, very helpful and friendly, which made the visit more pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable, with full air conditioning, and the washroom was well kept. The only small drawback was low pressure from the hot water shower. European Gate Guest House is about 5 km from Pooja Nagaraya, Ruwanwelisaya and Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. It’s a peaceful, convenient base for a visit to Anuradhapura. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

The quiet, calm setting made it easy to relax, and I felt very safe because the security was top-notch. Staff were friendly and attentive to everything I needed, and the food was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful stay and will choose this place again on my next visit. Thanks for the great hospitality!
