The staff were incredibly kind and made sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. Everything felt well cared for, from the clean, comfortable rooms to the calm, welcoming atmosphere. Hangloose is a cute, nicely decorated place with lots of dishes to choose from. We had the margirita pizza and it was VERY good. And as for the prices

We only ate at Hangloose, not at the accommodation, even though Google Maps uses the same profile for both. This little restaurant was hard for us to find on the map, and its local ratings didn’t make us notice it either, but our family of five loved it. The service was incredibly fast by Sri Lankan standards, the value for money is great, and the pizza is very good. The other food is good too. Check the last page of the menu for the local samosa, which is a bit like a pizza calzone and one of my favorite pizza variations. If your kids are tired of Sri Lankan curry, you’ll find what you need here. And if slow service at some local restaurants gets on your nerves, try Hangloose.

The rooms were really nice, just two minutes from the beach, and the AC worked. Breakfast was basic but included. Extending our stay by one night was very easy.

The garden was beautiful, and the whole place had such a calm, charming feel. I felt welcomed by the warmth and quiet from the moment I arrived, a real break from everyday noise. The rooms were cozy and spotless, and the hospitality was lovely, with people who clearly care about their guests. I’m grateful for my time here and would happily return.
