We wanted somewhere near town where my wife and I could still relax in a quiet setting, and we were also hoping for good quality. This small hotel suited us very well, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable stay in Bandarawela. The room was comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed the cool breeze through the large windows, even though there was AC, and sat outside with tea in the two relaxing chairs. The bed was a very large king size, maybe too big for the two of us. There was also a kettle with tea bags and cups, a steam iron in the wardrobe, and a large colour TV with a set top box mounted opposite the bed. The dining area is one level below, and the staff were polite, respectful, and friendly. The bathroom wasn’t at a five star level, but it had good quality American Standard fittings, hot water, shower gels, lotions, shower caps, towels, and the other basics.

Tharindu was excellent, both in service and as a cook. The food was great, and the portions were generous. We also found the staff polite and helpful, and the location convenient for getting around and doing activities. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the facilities I needed. If I visit Bandarwela again, I’d definitely stay here.

There are several room types, including deluxe rooms, suites, and family rooms, designed for different kinds of travelers. It’s also surrounded by lush greenery, so it feels like a good spot to relax. The location in the heart of Ella makes it easy to reach local restaurants, shops, and attractions such as the famous Nine Arch Bridge.

The location was very convenient, and the staff were helpful and polite. I found the room spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. The food was great, with generous portions, and the stay was comfortable. An amazing experience.
