The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature, and the view over the lagoon was a real highlight. Hotel East Lagoon is right beside the water. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food tasted good with a decent range to choose from. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. A nice choice if you enjoy calm surroundings, good food, and lagoon views.

I stayed two nights at East Lagoon Hotel and came away with a really pleasant memory. The restaurant staff were especially kind and calm. Thanks to Chef Charles for personally making special food for us, it meant a lot. Jathusan, Janogini, and Iswarya were caring and friendly the whole time. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and to me they felt like a four-star experience. Thank you all for the warm hospitality. I'll remember the stay and recommend the place.

There aren't many places to stay in Batticaloa, and Hotel East Lagoon is a decent option when visiting. Its location beside the lagoon is the main draw, with a lovely view and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are somewhat old but comfortable enough for a short stay and have the basic amenities. Cleanliness and facilities are acceptable. Service was average, with nothing to complain about but nothing especially memorable either.

The sunrise over Batticaloa Lagoon was such a lovely way to start the day, and the whole place felt quiet and restful. Hotel East Lagoon is clean and well kept, with comfortable, tidy rooms. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. A peaceful place to stay in Batticaloa, especially if you enjoy nature.
