Villa 80

The location made it easy to visit Bentota’s main attractions and get to Bentota Beach for time by the sea. The pool behind the villa was a peaceful place to swim or relax with family and friends. We felt at home thanks to Mr. Henry and his wife, whose warmth and hospitality stood out. Mr. Henry looked after us carefully throughout our stay, and the fresh, tasty food was prepared with so much love that each meal became part of the holiday. Villa 80 is beautifully cared for, with thoughtful furnishings and elegant antique pieces that give it a calm, authentic Sri Lankan feel. We had a relaxing, comfortable family reunion here and highly recommend it for a family holiday or special gathering with loved ones.

The rooms were really nice and had air con, and the pool was lovely. Mr Henry and his team were amazing while we were there. We didn’t have children with us, but the place looked very child friendly.

The pool was crystal clear and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We had a memorable night at Villa 80 with our office team. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and worth every cent. The food was delicious too. A great spot for a group getaway, highly recommended.

Villa 80 Bentota is a superb property. We had a memorable stay on 23rd August 2025, with spacious, clean, beautifully maintained rooms and delicious meals from the chef. The hospitality and ambiance were excellent. One interaction did affect the experience a little: at 11:41 PM yesterday, the owner came over in a rather aggressive tone and told us to stop the music. We were already winding down, with just two ladies singing one final song. We respect the 11:30 PM quiet time policy and stopped immediately without arguing. A more polite approach, perhaps letting the song finish, would have made the moment much more pleasant. We hope the feedback helps the place improve. It has great potential, and we’d love to return. Thank you for an otherwise wonderful stay.
