Lanka Princess All Inclusive Hotel

I rarely write reviews, but the therapists really impressed me. On one visit, Radha gave me a wonderful massage, with a sweet gesture and professional conversation. She was such a wonderful person, and I left very pleased. On another visit, Selvi also gave me a wonderful massage and spoke professionally and warmly. I’d love to visit again after both experiences. My first visit here was great overall. The massage was soothing and relaxing, and I was a little sad when the time was up. It’s reasonably priced and really worth trying, especially for people living nearby. I’ll definitely come back. The spa had a calming atmosphere and professionally trained staff. In ella, it can be hard to find a good spa, so I was happy my random Google Search led me to one of the best. I had a deep tissue massage that helped reduce my pain and left my body feeling calmer. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes Thai massage, and I plan to visit regularly. I also had a wonderful 90-minute deep tissue massage and felt completely rejuvenated afterward. My therapist was friendly and thoroughly professional. The spa was nicely decorated and very clean. I’d be glad to visit again.

Be warned. We booked four months ahead, then five days before arrival they told us our rooms had been downgraded because they’d overbooked. Worse, we’d have to switch to lower-grade rooms midway through our five-night stay. There was no apology, just take it or leave it. I cancelled the booking. If this is how they treat customers before arrival, I can only imagine what service would be like during a stay. I wouldn’t trust them to honor a booking, even after full payment.

The pool and dining area tiles are dangerously slippery, just waiting for someone to fall. The location wasn't appealing, and the place had no charm or atmosphere, or any sense of being in Sri Lanka. It could have been in Germany. The Ayurveda treatments felt rushed, and some therapists may not be qualified. There were too many problems to list, and management didn't seem to care. Save your money and head down to Taylor or Galle instead. There are much better places with beautiful beaches. This was the worst vacation ever.

It may be a small hotel, but it was a fantastic place for lunch. A few colleagues and I ate at Lanka princes and had a great time. The food was delicious, and I especially liked the action station. The staff worked efficiently and were super fast about refreshing our table.
