The garden had lots of lovely plants and flowers, with pleasant spots to relax. I spent five days here and really enjoyed it. My upstairs apartment had a balcony, kitchen, and large bedroom. Ajith was a friendly, helpful owner, and even drove me to the station when I left. The beach is walkable, with several restaurants nearby. I’d definitely return.

Ajith was so welcoming and always checked that we had something to eat and drink. We were four people staying at Nethmi Homestay, and really enjoyed it. It was one of the cleanest apartments we’d stayed in so far in Sri Lanka. My favorite part was the outdoor shower, where you could look at the stars while showering at night. I really recommend this place :))

I spent a month at Nethmi Villa and would absolutely stay again. The apartment was lovely, with its own bathroom and kitchen, and there’s a garden for relaxing in the sun. The beach is beautiful and about 10 minutes away, or 4 minutes by bike. Ajith, the owner, was extremely nice and made sure things were okay. He helped whenever I needed something or had a problem, and showed me the places I wanted to visit, including the beach, supermarket, temple, and elephant spot. He made my time in Sri Lanka and at Nethmi Villa really comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it!

The garden was the biggest plus, full of amazing trees and flowers. It also brought the biggest drawback: lots of insects, including mosquitoes, especially when it rains. There are different kinds of rooms for solo travelers, families, and couples. I came to Sri Lanka for two months, initially booking just five days in a hotel while looking for a villa in Aluthgama. I found this place through a recommendation and didn’t regret it. It has everything for a comfortable stay, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Whoever you’re traveling with, it can suit you. Hope everyone gets to visit Sri Lanka 🌸

We visited in January and had a pleasant stay in a very quiet place, with the beach close by. Ajith was a very hospitable host, and the meals were excellent. Thank you for everything, Ajith. Ajith’s brother, Sandjiiwa, is a very good driver for visiting Sri Lanka and discovering a special place in the country.
