Rudy Guest House

The food was just moderate, but the location, rooms, facilities and staff were excellent.

The staff were considerate and extremely helpful, even though they spoke very little English and communication was difficult. The room itself was very spacious, and the shower was good, but cleanliness was lacking, with hair and spiderwebs around. There were hardly any other guests, which made the place feel lonely and abandoned. Renovations were underway, so maybe things will improve soon. We didn't try the pool because it closed at 20:00.

A budget stay in a superb, convenient location. The other facilities are pretty average and could use a lot of improvement.

For our get-together with friends, the hotel's breathtaking view made a beautiful backdrop. It's a peaceful spot by the river, a welcome break from the busy surroundings, and the whole place has a calm feel. I'd recommend it if you want somewhere serene to unwind. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff clearly take pride in the place. Our room was cozy, the decor showed care, and everything felt clean and well looked after. A lovely hidden gem.
