The gardens were nicely done, and the staff helped us throughout, which I hope they keep up. Meals were mixed: breakfast and dinner were decent, but lunch fell short. The location is top tier, though the hotel itself seemed rather poorly maintained. All in all, we had a good experience, but only an average one given the location.

The pool was sparkling and gave us a nice pause from the beach, and the grounds and shared areas were very well kept. Getting to the beach was easy and immediate, with the property right on the shore. We had a fantastic stay. We also really enjoyed the meals, especially with live music adding a lively feel while we ate. A clean, relaxing beach holiday with something going on in the evenings, this place fit us well.

The staff made this stay for us. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, especially Supun, Upeksha, Kawindya, Mihirani, Sarah, Hansani, Sawmini, and plenty of others I can't list here. The property itself is lovely, and the beach is excellent. We had an extremely pleasant time. Since it's a family resort, a play area for children would be a good addition.

The room view was beautiful, and we also relaxed with massages at the spa. The staff were prompt and professional throughout. I stayed at the Palms for my mother's birthday, and they made it a very special occasion. Palms arranged a private dinner for my parents and me on the beach beneath the full moon. Chef Mohan cooked us a special five-course Indian vegetarian meal, while Chamindu and Rahul set up a lovely canopy and looked after us with real courtesy and professionalism. Chamindu also made refreshing apple drinks. We were very satisfied with the hotel and I'll certainly return.

I found the food selection a bit average as a vegetarian, though I think non-vegetarians would have a feast. The property is lovely, right beside the beach, and kept clean throughout. It's a great spot to spend the day or evening by the water. The staff were courteous and quick to offer help with anything.
