The property is lovely and quiet, and our comfortable, well-kept room made for a very relaxing stay. The staff were especially helpful and attentive with our luggage. This beachside hotel near Chilaw felt like a real retreat. A great choice for a calm stay in or around Chilaw, highly recommended.

The buffet food was surprisingly tasty, the pool is nice, and the beach nearby is beautiful. The staff work hard, but that was about where the good points stopped. Our room felt dated, the AC was loud, the bathroom smelled awful, the shower heads were in bad shape, and the commode cistern was broken. The intercom didn't work, and the bar licence had expired. No one was at the vacant front area to welcome us. The billing felt unprofessional, as if they were learning from guests. They may deserve some slack while recovering from Covid and Ditwa damage, but I hope they improve, since the place has a lot of potential.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the rooms were very comfortable. It's a beautiful, huge property in a small town like Chillaw, with a large number of rooms.

The massive pool, excellent food, well-kept rooms, and amazing staff made our first vacation of 2026 calm and enjoyable. We stayed at Carolina. The lobby area could use some renovation, but the rest of the place more than made up for it.

It was a miserable experience. I was there with over 100 people, and none of us liked the food. It's in a secluded location, and the food was extremely bad. The washroom doors wouldn't lock properly, and they couldn't provide a toiletry kit. Nothing good about this resort.
