Amazing Grace Residence

Very good, I hope.

The room had the basics covered for even a few days, including a kitchenette with a large fridge, stove, washing machine, and a clean bathroom. It was clean overall, in an extension of a nice house in central Colombo. The downsides were hard to ignore. The room is small with a low ceiling, and the walls are so flimsy that conversations from the neighboring part of the extension, rented as an office by the owners, carry through. The corrugated metal roof makes it very hot inside, and the air conditioning is very weak.

There’s a little garden where you can take a break, and the apartment itself is cozy. It’s in central Colombo, and even with the street right outside, it stays quiet.
