Bunkyard Hostels

I really enjoyed my stay. When I visited Colombo, there weren’t any tourists around at the time. The service was excellent, and they clean every day. You can refill your water and order food. I loved the acai bowl, and the employees were happy to share great advice. Thank you so much!

It’s in a nice neighborhood, though a bit far from the city centre. The house was clean and everything worked as it should, apart from the wifi, which was only available downstairs. Breakfast was included and pretty good, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. One of the best places I stayed. I’d stay longer if I had a reason to be in Colombo.

I spent two weeks at BunkYard Hostel and don’t regret a single day. The staff are friendly, helpful, and competent, and they make an effort to get to know guests. People from around the globe gather in the lobby to chat, with the staff joining in too. The hostel is very clean and keeps a high standard. Prices are reasonable, and breakfast is included. Best hostel I’ve stayed in. Keep up the great work, and thanks for two great weeks!

The staff are really helpful, and the atmosphere makes this a great spot to meet fellow travelers, especially if you’re just starting your trip. There’s a free basic breakfast, plus other tasty things you can order for a charge. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive to Pettah Market and Galle Face Green, and close to the National Museum and Independence Square.
