Hangover Hostels at Colombo

We stayed three nights and had a great time in the social spaces, with loads of board games and a good atmosphere. There’s useful information in the common area on getting around and things to see. The dorm was comfortable and clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff were helpful. The lockers are huge and use keycards, the best I’ve seen in a dorm.

Our double room was clean and nicely equipped, with a pleasant bathroom. It did get noisy late into the evening since the room is right by the common area. We paid more than at our other places in Sri Lanka, though this is the capital and the location is reasonably good.

The location was great and the price felt just right. I met guests from all over the world, and the atmosphere was really warm. My private room was very clean, and asst manager Dinesh was a big help. There’s also a nice, large pantry where you can cook your own meals.

They put on different events for meeting people, and there’s a city walking tour too. You can borrow bikes for a donation, use the washing machine for a set price, and cook in the shared kitchen. The place is clean, well looked after, and has lots of facilities. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious. A double room gives you plenty of space and a really comfy bed, with privacy and a nice atmosphere. It can seem a little pricey, but I felt it was worth it. Dorms are an option too. The facilities are new and in good shape, and there are finally enough sockets!
